Daniel Paul Kraus

Daniel Paul Kraus, age 49, passed away peacefully in his sleep, at home, on February 22, 2026. He is survived by his parents, Patricia and Richard Kraus, and siblings Patrick (Kim) Kraus, Kathleen (Joseph) DeMartino, Timothy (Anne) Kraus and Maureen Morrow, and 10 nieces and nephews.

He had a love for the outdoors, especially during his time out west, admiring Mount Rainer. He was an avid chef and enjoyed cooking with fresh vegetables, herbs and spices he grew in the family garden. Music was an important part of his life from listening to Pink Floyd, creating music on the piano and playing the saxophone in his early years. He was a game show enthusiast, a competitive game-show player and a movie buff, sharing his recommendations with friends and family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.

Dan will be remembered by his kind heart and loving smile. May he rest in peace.
