Dale F. Weber, 81, of South Charleston, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019. Born September 12, 1937 in Urbana, Ohio, he was the son of Fred and Velda Weber. He graduated from Northeastern High School in 1955 and attended Ohio State University. Dale met his wife, Judith (Goetting), who survives him, at 4-H camp. They were married for over 60 years and raised three children who survive him: a daughter, Linda (Tom) Cline, South Charleston, sons Bob (Laura) Weber, Jeffersonville, and John (Julie) Weber, Worthington. His grandchildren include Michael (Allison) Cline, Liberty Township; Rachel (Patrick) Conrad, Troy; Ethan Weber, Cedarville; Rebecca (fiancé Larry Pitzer), Cedarville; Jason Ware, Springfield; and a very precious granddaughter Jessica Weber, Worthington. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a brother Kenneth (Linda) Weber, Springfield; sisters Karen Blinn, Louisville, KY; and Cheryl (Don) Snyder, Springfield, as well as a cherished sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pete and Sue Kitchen, West Jefferson. He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Fred and Virginia Goetting, a sister-in-law, Marilyn Weber and a brother-in-law, James Blinn. Dale was a Snap-On Tool dealer for many years. Following his retirement from Snap-On, he started his own business, Dale’s Steam Cleaning Service. During the summers, he also mowed for Clark County Engineer’s office. Dale was a 47-year member of the Masonic Fraternity; Fielding Lodge #192 in South Charleston. Dad was a farm boy at heart and loved the outdoors and animals, especially his dog Autumn and cat Tommy. He enjoyed watching sports, was a big Ohio State fan, and loved tinkering in his garage. Most of all he loved his wife, his children, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by them all. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with masonic services beginning at 7:00PM. Services to honor Dale will be Friday at 11:00AM in the Memorial Home. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston.
