Craig A. Gevedon

Craig Allen Gevedon passed away on September 14th, 2026, in a senseless tragedy. He was born on January 18th, 1960, to Lex and Lyda Gevedon.

Craig loved bringing family and friends together at his home. His happy places were on the front porch swing or the back driveway with a Miller and a friend sharing stories and laughing. He also loved his grandchildren, motorcycles, cars, taking care of his yard and property, planes, boating, traveling with his wife, and having a dip in the pool.

Craig was a master electrician by trade and spent 26 years working alongside his father in their family business, Lex Electric. Later, he worked for 19 years at the Home Depot as a master trade specialist, passing along his vast knowledge to customers and friends alike. Craig loved helping people and truly was a jack of all trades. He was always willing to lend a hand or help anyone figure out a problem; there was seemingly nothing he couldn't fix or educate someone on how to fix for themselves.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Gevedon; Ex-wife Brenda Gevedon, daughter, Elizabeth Zirpola (Michael); son, David Gevedon (Kaytlyn); stepchildren, Tiffany and Skylar; grandchildren, Jonathan, Alessandra, Lyda; step-grandchildren, Ty, and Jordyn; and siblings, Lisa Frank and Michael Gevedon. He is also survived by his beloved fur babies, Dukie Boy and Mocha Lynn. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lex and Lyda Gevedon.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar, & Fraley Funeral Home in New Carlisle on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Craig will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
