Clark F. Peyatt Jr., 81 of Springfield, Ohio passed away on March 30th, 2018. He was born in Fayetteville W.V. on April 20th. He is preceded in death by: his father, Clark Peayatte, mother Corah Belle Peayatte (Reed), wife, Ruth Peyatt (Hall), granddaughter Terri Lynn Lewis, four siblings, Ray Arthur, Gene Arthur, Lorene Arthur (Allen) and Dorothy Pruitt. He spent many years as a tool maker at Lagonda Tool, then spent years dedicated to the Apostolic Tabernacle Church. His last few years he spent enjoying Reds baseball, and Ohio State football with his son, Buddy. If you notice the spelling of his parents name, you see a discrepancy. He learned to spell his name the way it sounded instead of the correct way. When asked, his answer for this was," I did the best I could". This is how he continued to live, by raising Tina as his own child, and being kind to people he met, "doing the best he could'. He is survived by: four children Teresa Peayatte of Tennessee, Ruth Peyatt, Clark Peyatt III, and Kenneth Peyatt of Springfield; seven grandchildren, Matthew Lewis, William Lewis, Tina Abushaala, Ashley Peyatt, Lucas Peyatt, Kenneth Peyatt Jr, and Jonathan Peyatt; special friend, and companion Cecelia Fain; many nieces, nephews, and friends that he adopted as family. Visitation will be Monday April 2nd at 1:00 pm with a service following at 2:00 pm at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home with Pastor Aaron Cydrus officiating. Entombment to follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.
