Clara Louise Orth Ochs

Clara L. Orth Ochs, 86, of Troy, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She was born April 30, 1932 in New Carlisle, the daughter of the late Earl and Ruth Shroyer. Clara was a member of West Charleston Church of the Brethren for many years. She is preceded in death by her husbands Rollin Orth and Harold Ochs; brothers Dale (Florence) Shroyer , Lloyd (Twila) Shroyer and Roy Shroyer; sisters Helen Chapman and Esther (Sam) Hinkle; sons-in-law William "Terry" Powers and Jeff Miller; and brother's-in-law Johnny Parker and John Sehon. She is survived by her daughters Pamela Erbaugh, Deborah (Richard) Hessel, Cindy Orth, Shirley Powers and Holly Miller; a son Rodney Orth; brother Ralph (Carol) Shroyer; sisters Bertha Parker and Frances Sehon; brother-in-law Ted Chapman; sisters-in-law Lenora (Marvin) Stamper and Jane Shroyer; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service to honor Clara will be Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 3:00 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM in the funeral home. A private graveside will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.
