Cindy K. Rodewald

Cindy K. Rodewald, 67, of New Carlisle, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025. She was born on August 31, 1958, the daughter of Anita and A.D. Hickman. Cindy retired from Montgomery County MRDD. She was a member of VFW Post 9966 and the Celina Moose Lodge #1473. Cindy loved spending her summers at Grand Lake St. Mary’s with Rick on their boat. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Daniel Rodewald, Sr.; and sister Esther Fields. Cindy is survived by her children Dan (Amy) Rodewald, Jr. and Dannel (Bob Reed) Prater; partner in life Rick Hooten; brother Michael (Melissa) Stanley; sister Stephanie (George) Burd; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2025, from 12:30-1:30pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service beginning at 2:00pm at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
