Chris Worthen

Chris Worthen, 53, of Springfield passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 after several years of failing health. He was born January 7, 1965 in Springfield the son of Tom and Evelyn (Smith) Worthen, and was reared by his mother and step father Richard Robison. Chris had worked as a metal fabricator for over thirty years. He is survived by his son Christopher (Angela) Worthen of Urbana; his granddaughter Annalyn Worthen and her mother Shawna McFarland; step father Richard Robison of Springfield; father and step mother Tom and Patty Worthen of Englewood, FL; brothers Tony (Tami) Worthen of Galloway, OH, Todd Worthen and Rob (Monalisa) Robison both of Springfield; sister Kelly (John) Perkins of Springfield; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Robison; former wife Jane Worthen; and sister Terri Ann Dotson. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:00 AM. in the Chapel at Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana. A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 4 – 6 PM. in LifeNet Chrisitian Fellowship with Pastor Chris Livingston officiating.
