Charles E. Tilton

Charles E. Tilton age 80 of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. He was born the son of Ernie & Lucille (White) Tilton on December 6, 1945, in Springfield, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Judith Tilton; nephew Steve Donaldson. He is survived by his nephew who he raised like his own son Michael (Ashleigh) Donaldson and their children Bryson & Alyson Donaldson; longtime significant partner Thelma Ivon; 3 stepchildren Brandy (Erick) Hobbs, Eric (Colleen) Ivon & Sonya Ivon; niece Heather (Chris) DiLauro; 6 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Charles was a 32nd degree Free and Accepted Mason. For many years he owned and operated Tilton Trucking. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Bradenton Beach, Florida & Gulf Shores, Alabama. Friends & family may call on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 11AM – 1PM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio. Interment to follow in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery.
