Charles Steven Marks

Charles Steven Marks, aka Musty in the bike community, passed away on October 12, 2026, at home with his family near him. Steve was born December 3, 1962, in Springfield, Ohio, to Charles Lehman and Phyllis Lavonne Marks. A GM technician for over 30 years, he was also a Harley motorcycle enthusiast and an avid mushroom hunter, and he enjoyed watching westerns on TV and being with his close-knit family. He was known by everyone close to him to be a man of few words and old-fashioned values and morals, who was kind, loyal, generous, and honest and had a sense of humor. He was a loving and supportive son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded by his parents and his brother, Kevin Todd Marks. He is survived by his wife and best friend of over 35 years, Sharla; sons, Bradley (Allen) and Wade (Shelby), and new grandson, Charlie; sister, Brenda (Rodney) Yocom; Nieces, Holly (Wes) Bahan, Brooke (Ryan) Thompson, and nephews, Jared (Beth) Marks, Nick (Macie) Marks, and Zack Marks. He also has many close biker brothers and sisters who will mourn his loss. Per Steve’s request, no services will be held at this time.
