Charles Lloyd Dishon

Charles Lloyd Dishon, age 79, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on September 19, 2025. He was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on April 4, 1946 to the late Lewis and Flora Dishon. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brothers: Kenneth, Thomas, L.D., and Joe Dishon.

Charles is survived by children: Danny (Betsy) Dishon, Donald Dishon, Kenneth Dishon, Tammy Dishon-Isaacs, and Becky Dishon; grandchildren: Charles Adams, Amanda Dishon, and Rachel Dishon; great grandchildren: Cadence Adams, Charles Adams II, Bailee Kendall, and Payton Kendall, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Charles worked for International Steelwool for more than 20 years before retiring from Champion Company. He loved to watch NASCAR and was a devoted Chicago Cubs fan. Charles also enjoyed fishing, model and classic cars, and wrestling, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 1:00pm- 2:00pm in the chapel at Rose Hill Burial Park.
