82, of Medway, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020. She was born February 5, 1938 in Goddard, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Horace & Betty Taylor. Faye attended Goddard School through 8th grade before graduating from Fleming County High School in 1957. During summers, and then for three years after graduation, Faye traveled with Betty Claypool Towriss as the Goddard Duet, singing at revivals and services throughout Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. In her early twenties, Faye worked as a secretary for DESC ( Defense Electronics Supply Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base). While working at DESC, she went on a blind date with Airman 2nd Class Fred S. Hill. They married six months later on April 22, 1961. Faye attended Maple Avenue Church of God in Fairborn, Ohio, and worked as the administrative secretary for 28 years. She was very involved in her church, and through the years, served as a Sunday School teacher, Superintendent, and on many committees. Faye is known for her love of family and friends, her unwavering faith, and her gracious and giving spirit. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Fred Hill; children, Nora Hill MacFarlane (Robb), Fred Hill Jr.; grandchildren, Benjamin MacFarlane, Taylor MacFarlane, Jillian Copley, and Emma Hill. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Fate "Edward" Taylor, Georgia Faustain (Tena) Taylor, Mildred May (Billie) Taylor, Bethel Luella Taylor, Lawrence Taylor Sr., Horace Franklin (Bob) Taylor Jr., and Sherley West Taylor. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
