Chad E. Fent, Jr.

Chad Everett Fent, Jr., 22, of Springfield, went to heaven on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. He was born March 14, 1998 in Springfield, the son of Chad E. Fent, Sr. and Connie M. Pratt. Chad loved working on his cars and racing. He loved his family more than life, was a stranger to no one and spread love to all. Chad is preceded in death by his father Chad E. Fent, Sr.; sisters Clarissa Smith and Brittany Smith; maternal grandfather Walter Moran; paternal grandparents Carl and Patricia Fent; and step-grandparents Richard and Sharon Pratt. Chad is survived by his mother and step-father Connie and Richard Pratt, Jr.; fiancé Kaylee Burgess; grandmother and special friend to her Yvonne Moran and Dean Hendricks; brothers Brandon (fiancé Kryssy) Fent, Tyler Pratt, Rusty Jenkins, Chad Allen Fent and Jonathan Smith; sisters Kierra Fent, Melissa Jenkins, Terra Fent, Alexis Pratt, Sarah Fent, Nadia Smith and Trudy Johnson; special nephews Brylon and Jaxon Fent; friends William Royce, Austin Robinson and Patrick Hartman; extended family the Street Creepers; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The funeral service to honor Chad will be Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home.
