CeCile D. Banion age 55 of South Charleston, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born the daughter of Paul & Olivia (Stone) Rowland on February 27, 1968, in Springfield, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents; mother & father-in-law Pat & Ruth Banion; 2 brothers in law Tim & Dwain Banion. CeCile is survived by her loving husband Todd Banion of 35 years; sons Paul (Aurielle) Banion of Germany, & Bryant (Courtney) Banion of Springfield; daughters Katherine (Jace) Brooks of Dayton, & Chelsey Banion of South Charleston; brother Ransome Rowland; sister Mae (Vito) Spada; brothers & sisters in law Dwight & Babs Banion, Bob & Gail Varner, Myra Banion, Alan & Cindi Banion, Jeff & Teri Banion, & Lynne Banion; grandchildren who were her pride & joy Abigail, Barrett, Bryson, & Colter; several nieces, nephews, extended family, & a host of friends. CeCile was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister & friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. CeCile was a longtime & faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of South Charleston where she taught Sunday school & worked with the Pioneer Club. She enjoyed planning family get togethers, especially around the holidays & was known as “The Captain” because she oversaw all the plans, and the meals. Her life centered around her family, especially her grandchildren. CeCile will be remembered for her huge heart, & always putting others needs before her own.
