Catherine Lee Bitner

Catherine Lee Bitner, 79, of Donnelsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026. She was born on August 8, 1946, in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Donald and Josephine Cohmer. She retired from the Post Office in Springfield after 25 years as a clerk. Catherine loved her pets, spending time researching family genealogy and Ohio history and spending time in her flower garden. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jim Ludden; grandson, Christopher (Andrea) Combs; and great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Underwood. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Bitner and son John K. Bitner. Private graveside services will be held at New Carlisle Cemetery.
