Carter Bates

CARTER BATES, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Friday, October 12, 2018. He was born August 5, 1936 in Knott County, Kentucky the son of the late Can & Anna Bates. He is survived by his children; Carter (Cindy) Bates, Jr., Ann "Sissy" Highlander, Bill (Nancy) Bates, Lisa (Bobby) Foland; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Berdie Bates; two brothers, Can,Jr. & Robert Bates; a sister, Mabel Back. Visitation will be 10AM-12PM Friday,October 19, 2018 at the First Baptist Church ofNew Carlisle, 8870 E State Route 571, New Carlisle, OH 45344 with funeral services at12PM. Burial to follow at the New Carlisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton or Life Connection of Ohio.
