Carolyn Pyles

Pyles, Carolyn - Died at home surrounded by love and with peace and strength on December 24, 2018 with 27 family members by her side. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Dr. Robert Pyles, by children Ty (Teri) and Tami of Tipp City, Tawnya Knierim of Wheeling, WV and Treven of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren: Brooke (James Samuels) Pyles, Kairee (Jonathan) Cedermaz, Whitney (Ryan) Pyles-Dodds, Connor Pyles, Brenda Kulowiyi, Jacob Knierim, Anna Knierim, Amber (Shane) Robertson and Maddison Pyles; Great-grandchildren: Irie and Owen Pyles-Samuels, Micah and Willow Pyles-Dodds, Arden Kulowiyi, Levi Wallace, Payton and Grevin Robertson. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson Oliver Pyles-Samuels. Carolyn (Conn) was born in Mt Vernon, OH and attended Wilmington University, where she met Robert, the love of her life. After marrying Robert she dedicated herself to loyally supporting him and raising their four children. She was a perfectly, imperfect wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She showed her love and faith in all that she did for her family and her greatest passion was helping others. According to her wishes a private, family graveside service will be held on January 5, 2019. Arrangements have been entrusted to Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
