Carolyn J. Johnson

Carolyn J. Johnson, 84, of New Carlisle, passed on to her Heavenly Home, Saturday, May 12, 2018. She was born December 30, 1933 in Shelby, Ohio, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Maxine Quiggle. Carolyn retired from W.P.A.F.B. and later Wright Patt Credit Union. She was a longtime member of the Missionary Church of New Carlisle. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband William L. Johnson; sisters Ruth Quiggle and Joyce Trippett; brother Kenneth Quiggle. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Anna and Tim Hoskins; grandchildren Chad (Amanda) Hoskins, Nathan (Grace) Hoskins and Tyler (Erica) Hoskins; great-grandchildren Caroline, Luke, Jillian, Luisa, Greyson, Jordan and Kennedy; brothers John Quiggle and Jim (Debbie) Quiggle; sisters LaDonna Quiggle, Louise (Ken) Hunter and Patricia Quiggle; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service to honor Carolyn will be Friday at 2:00 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. A graveside service will be Saturday at 1:00 PM in Oakland Cemetery, 183 S. Gamble St., Shelby, OH, 44875. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
