CAROL L. RHODUS

88, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Monday, September 24, 2018. She was born December 27, 1929 on the John Paul Jr. Farm, the daughter of the late Addison & Bertha E. (Spence) Colegrove. She graduated in 1948 from Olive Branch school. She was a school bus driver for 45 years at Tecumseh schools. She loved to sew, crochet, and make & collect dolls. She is survived by two children, David ( Joanne) Bowers, Yvonne (David) Harphant; step children, Ida Katherine Rhodus & Mary Anderson; grandchildren, Nate (Jean) Black, Jason (Stacey) Bowers, Heather (Joe) Carter, Brandon (Fran) Bowers, Hunter (Christine) Howard, Ramses Myers, Taylor Myers & Amanda Myers, Josh Anderson; great grandchildren, Natalie Black, Jenna Carter, Katelynn & Piper Bowers, Marley & Noah Bowers, Sawyer Howard, Dravin Anderson; great great grandchildren; Jaydee Gilbert & Samantha Carter; a sister, Donna Alig. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by Robert B. Rhodus; three sisters, Pauline Colegrove, Opal Anderson & Dorothy Stroup; two brothers, Virgin & Larmar Colegrove; step son, Robbie Rhodus. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the Hearth & Home staff of Urbana and Heartland Hospice for the loving care she received. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery.
