Cager Gilbert

Cager "Tater Mac" Gilbert age 82 of Springfield passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020. He was born the son of Thomas & Cappy (White) Gilbert on April 19, 1938 in Grapevine, Kentucky. Cager is preceded in death by his wife Marie Gilbert; parents; brother Steve; sister Marietta. He is survived by his sons Tommy (Cindy) Gilbert, Billy (Mawdy) Gilbert, Jeff (Claudette) Gilbert; daughter Debra Gilbert; brothers Jerry & Kenny; sisters Loretta & Lethey; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; a host of nieces, nephews, & friends. Cager was a loving father, brother, grandfather & friend. He will be missed by all of those who love him. Cager was an avid Nascar fan, but more than anything he loved to spend quality time with his grandbabies. Arrangements entrusted to Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home.
