Bruce Wayne Risner, 71, of New Carlisle, unexpectedly passed away on July 3, 2025. He was born on June 6, 1954, in Dayton, to the late Fielding and Lillian Risner. He had an unwavering and unconditional love for his wife of 45 years, Carla. Bruce was a devoted father and papaw. He had a 50-year career, mostly in Tool and Die making, demonstrating a strong work ethic to his family. After retiring, he enjoyed gardening, growing a vegetable garden that he was proud of every summer. Bruce spent a lot of time in his woodworking shop, painting, and selling his wares at the flea market. Bruce enjoyed taking camping trips with his family and has visited many states over the years on their adventures. Bruce truly enjoyed life, spending time relaxing, listening to music, or visiting with friends. He is survived by his loving wife Carla (Leece) Risner; children, Benjamin Wayne Risner (Jennifer), Olivia Jean Nicodemus; grandsons, Blaze, Atticus, Orion, Kobe, and Peyton; two brothers, Todd Risner, Jay Risner, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Visitation with family and friends will be held at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 4 pm to 6 pm. Online condolences may be made at trostelchapman.com.
