Brittany Brown

Brittany (Kitchen) Brown, beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter and dedicated sister, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 17, 1990, in Columbus, Ohio, Brittany was the beloved daughter of Pamela Dillon and Patrick Davis. Brittany is survived by her mother, Pamela Dillon and her husband, William Brown. Her daughter, Gwendolyn (Winnie) Rohr and her son, Brody Brown. Siblings, Ashley (Jason) Montgomery, Dillon (Liz) Kitchen, Amie (Brad) Marburger, Joe (Diana) Davis. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Brittany was a beacon of light to all who knew her. From an early age, she exhibited a love for the outdoors, finding joy in the simplicity of nature. Her passion for waterfalls and rocks was something she shared with her children, teaching them to appreciate the beauty of the natural world.

She graduated from Kenton High School in 2008 and attended Hi-Point Career Center in Bellefontaine, where she earned her STNA license. Brittany dedicated several years to the medical field, where her compassionate nature thrived. Later, she found her true calling as a stay-at-home mom, relishing the precious moments spent with her children. Being a mom was her greatest accomplishment in life.

Brittany married the love of her life on July 17, 2021. Together, they spent eight wonderful years building a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Her husband, Bill, was her steadfast partner, and their marriage was a testament to mutual respect and unwavering support. Their family was Brittany’s greatest joy, and her greatest source of happiness.

She was predeceased in death by her grandmother, Joan Dillon, who surely welcomed her with open arms. Brittany leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth. Her stubborn yet gentle spirit was a comfort to many. She was always the voice of reason and a confidante to those in need, placing the well-being of others above her own, without a moment's hesitation.

Brittany’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has called, visited, and sent meals during this difficult time. Your support and kindness have been deeply appreciated.

Brittany will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Brittany's life and legacy on September 26th. The family will communicate details. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Greene County Parks, reflecting Brittany's giving nature and love for the outdoors.
