Brenda Kay Harris

Brenda Harris, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on March 28th, 1961, Brenda was a lifelong resident of Springfield, Ohio, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication to her family and friends.

Brenda was a proud graduate of Shawnee High School & Springfield JVS, Class of 1979. She spent many years working as a skilled machinist, where her attention to detail and work ethic were admired by colleagues and friends alike.

Brenda is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Thomas Harris, and her loving children: sons Patrick Summers, Eric Summers, and Joseph Harris, and daughter Amber (Christian) Beal. She was a cherished grandmother to Joseph Harris, Jr., Rylee Beal, and Emersyn Beal, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Phyllis Summers.

In accordance with Brenda's wishes, no services will be held. Her family respects her decision and will celebrate her life privately.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home, who have provided compassionate care during this difficult time.
