73, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. He was born in Emporia, Kansas the son of the late Robert Cottenmyre & Grace Carstensen. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Brenda Cottenmyre; children, Melanie (Wayne) Williams, Todd ( Karla) Cottenmyre; grandchildren, Nicholas Morrison, Caitlin Morrison, Camille Morrison, Brodey Cottenmyre, Brianna Cottenmyre; a brother, John (Denise) Cottenmyre; sisters, Linda Shirley, Catherine Flood, Debbie (Larry) Jameson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by, brothers Robert & Harold (Tony) Cottenmyre; sister Kay Long. Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Medway Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
