Betty A. Harris

Betty A. Harris, 85, of Springfield passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 following a year of failing health. She was born April 5, 1932 in Sunbury, OH the daughter of Ferd and Nanny (Presley) Hubbard. Betty is survived by her five children Diana (Joseph) Szenay of Springfield, Marilyn Clarkson of South Charleston, Justin (Pam) Harris, Dana (Melody) Harris and Tom (Brenda) Harris, all of Springfield; brother Cecil Hubbard of Fredericktown, OH; sisters Beulah DeBoard of Pigeon Forge, TN, Kathleen Sparks of Delaware, OH and Marjorie (Larry) Bowen of Galena, OH; thirteen grandchildren; six step grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Wirt L. Harris, in 2007; son-in-law Scott Clarkson; sister Pauline Griffith and brother Earl Hubbard. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 noon – 2 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Betty’s life will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Pastor Gene Kelly officiating. Interment to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
