Betty R Cassell

Cassell, Betty R., 89 of South Charleston passed away June 12, 2020 in Villa Springfield. She was born in Kyser, WV, the daughter of Charles and Anna Spitzer. Betty was a graduate of South Charleston High School. She was a member of the South Charleston United Methodist Church. Betty was the co-owner of 7C’c Ceramics with her husband Curly. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Oria "Curly"; son Bruce; and brothers Dick, Bill and Ed Spitzer. Survivors include her children Terry (Shirley) Cassell, Dale (Eva) Cassell, Kelley (Randy) Maggard, Karla (Joe Jones) Cassell; daughter-in-law JoAnn Cassell; brother Danny (Nancy) Spitzer; grandchildren Rob (Kerry) Cassell, Natalie (Zeke) Smith, Amanda (Johnny) Jenkins, Deanna Donovan, Dawn (Sean) Conroy, Bruce (Lynn) Cassell, April (Mark) Vankirk, Carmen (Stephen) Dillinger, Jessica Sheppard, Adam (Laurissa) Farmer and Luke Arrick; twenty great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services to honor Betty will be Wednesday at 1:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Cathy Kooser officiating. Visitation will begin at Noon.
