Benjamin Paul Gudorf

Benjamin Paul Gudorf, 29, of New Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019. He was born November 14, 1989, in Dayton, the son of John Gudorf and Wilda Stanley. Benjamin was a 2008 graduate of Tecumseh High School, Miami University in 2012 and went on to do graduate coursework in Chemistry at Brown University and University of Pittsburgh. Benjamin loved being a son, brother, uncle, husband and father. He was fiercely committed to his family and friends. Benjamin was a bright light in every life he touched. He was always quick to offer a joke and a strong shoulder to lean on. He will be missed beyond words. Benjamin is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Edward and Dee H. Perrin; paternal grandparents Lloyd and Irene Gudorf; and his uncle Carl Gudorf. He is survived by his wife Lauren; son and best friend Dylan; parents Wilda and Daryl Stanley and John and Jodie Gudorf; brothers Daniel Gudorf, Eric (Jocelyn) Stanley and Drew (Andrea) Stanley; best friends Becky and Zack Duberstein; and beloved extended family. An open gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, November 9, 2019, from 1-3 PM with a Celebration of Life beginning at 3:00 PM in Tecumseh High School's Pflaumer Auditorium. Following the celebration of life, a candle lit walk will be held around the football field.
