Belinda Lynne McLaughlin-Neff

Belinda Lynne McLaughlin-Neff, born on February 27, 1971, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on January 10, 2026, in the Springfield/New Carlisle, Ohio area.

Belinda was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend to many. She had a heart of pure gold and would do anything for anyone in need. Her kindness, warmth, and selfless spirit touched every life she encountered.

Belinda proudly served as a nurse at Dayton Children’s Medical Center for many years, where she cared for countless families with compassion and dedication. She was also a loyal member of Moose Lodge 2464, where she bartended for many years and built lasting friendships within her community.

She is survived by her mother, Cathy McLaughlin; her husband, Dave Neff; her children, Taylor (Matt) Humphries, Brooke (Cody) McLaughlin, Leeann Neff, and Ryan (Kay) Neff; and her beloved grandchildren, Adryan, Reese, Bailey, Harper, Hensley, Maddox, Kamden, Juniper, and Clover.

She is also survived by her sissy and best friend, Robin (Gary) Smith; her brother and hero, Karl (Tracy) Hussong; her sisters-in-law, Naomi (Bill) Hardert and Missy (Mike) Elsass, Frank Sanning; mother- and father-in-law, Dave and Dorothy Baird; nieces and nephews, Allen, Logan, Reagan, Timmy, Sam, James, and Jake.

Belinda leaves behind many other wonderful family members and friends, including her special lifelong friend, Rena Ison.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bob McLaughlin; her grandparents, the Getters and the McLaughlins; her nephew, Chris Hussong; and her brother-in-law, Jim Neff.

Belinda found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She loved to host family get-togethers to cook, and every meal she made was filled with love. She enjoyed being outdoors, soaking up the sunshine while working in her yard and tending to her garden. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them, along with her cherished fur babies.

Known as the “karaoke queen,” Belinda had a voice of an angel that melted hearts and brought smiles wherever she went. Her beautiful smile and uplifting presence could light up any room.

Belinda was a beautiful soul whose love, laughter, and compassion will never be forgotten. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A light has gone out of our lives, but the love she gave will shine forever.
