Barbara Rose Hall Johnson

Johnson, Barbara Rose (Hall), 61 of Springfield passed away April 8, 2018 in The James at the OSU Medical Center. She was born in Cedarville, Ohio on June 12, 1956, the daughter of Donald Shinkle and Virginia (Shaw) Cox. Barbara had been a press operator for the Muncy Corporation for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed being with grandchildren, working puzzles and dancing. She was also quite the animal lover. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her in laws James and Sara Johnson. Survivors include her husband Darryl T. Johnson and they have been together since Oct 12, 1981; children Michelle Byrd, Douglas Payne, Jr., Bobbie (Steve) Austin, Connie Hall and Barbara (Brad) Mayse; brother Donald (Krisann) Shinkle; sisters Naomi Fletcher, Ruth (Roger) Frederick, Donna Clark, Lola Johnson and Lynn Cox; 18 wonderful grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 11:00AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Barbara will be at 1:00PM in the Memorial Home.
