Alberta Frances Smith

Alberta Frances Smith age 77 of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Kindred Hospital. She was born the daughter of Charles & Goldie (Lansing) Smith on April 28, 1943 in Springfield, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents. Alberta is survived by her 2 loving daughters Goldie Petrey of Springfield & Frances Gorton of South Charleston; sister Faith Petrey; grandchildren Jordan (Kayla) Mershon, Tate Barcus, Macey Barcus, Chelsea Gorton, Brandon Gorton, & Hayley Gorton; great grandchildren Chloe, & Tate Jr. Alberta was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo, and watching wrestling, especially Roman Reigns.
