Charlene Diamond Yeary Ward

Charlene Diamond Yeary Ward, 60, of New Carlisle, passed away September 5, 2021. She was born January 30, 1961, in Ashland, KY, the daughter of Charlie and Donna Jean (Hughes) Diamond. Charlene graduated from Tecumseh High School and Clark State Community College and was employed as a Computer Programmer until her retirement. Charlene was always happy and willing to help others and enjoyed her time with family and friends. She also loved animals and enjoyed riding horses and pampering her beloved chihuahuas. Charlene is preceded in death by her parents; one sister Shirley Riley; one nephew James Frederick Riley III. She is survived by her daughter Crystal Yeary; son Mark Yeary, Jr.; sister Iona Carol Strayer; brother Charlie Diamond, Jr.; step-mother Barbara Diamond; step-sisters Debbie Sowder, Sandy Levitre, Brenda Thompson, Kathy Van Valen; and granddaughter Gracie. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday October 3 at 4:00 PM at the West Charleston Church of the Brethren, Tipp City.
