Larry K. Slusser, 77, of Enon passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 in his home after a brief illness. He was born January 20, 1942 in Urbana, OH and was a 1960 graduate of Tecumseh High School. Larry worked thirty-four years at SPECO until their closing, then worked various part-time jobs until retiring at age 62. He was a member of Enon United Methodist Church; Past Patron of Aldora Chapter #262, Order of Eastern Star; member of Mt. Olivet Lodge #226, F. & A.M. in Christiansburg, OH; Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton; and Enon Lions Club, where he played Santa for several years. Larry loved camping, especially his thirty-nine years at the Poor Farmers Campground in Fletcher, OH and made such wonderful friends there. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of fifty-seven years, Barbara (Webb) Slusser; two daughters Tami Smith of Fairborn, Lori Pearce and his like a son-in-law Mike Zerkle of Piqua; granddaughter Kristina (Greg) Williams of Springfield; two precious great grandsons Noah and Nash Williams; sisters-in-law Judy Webb and Mary Jo (Ron) Pyles; brother-in-law John (Lynn) Webb; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his in-laws Roger and Hazel Webb. Visitation will Tuesday from 4 – 8 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Aldora Chapter will hold Eastern Star services Tuesday at 7:30 PM. The service to honor Larry’s life will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM. in the Memorial Home with Pastors Jan Johnson and Jeff Mohr officiating.. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
